We are a growing General Contracting company located in Kearney, MO and serving the greater Kansas City area. Due to recent growth, we find ourselves in need of a highly experienced and well-trained Carpenter or Craftsman who can offer good customer service and who is capable of treating each of our customers and their property with the respect they deserve.
We want a Carpenter or Craftsman who is a self-starter, willing to do the work by the book and strive to do the job right the first time, every time. The Carpenter or Craftsman must also be willing to work overtime when necessary, including Saturdays. We want someone who wants to work with us instead of for us.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

About Us:

We are a growing General Contracting company located in Kearney, MO and serving the greater Kansas City area. Due to recent growth, we find ourselves in need of a highly experienced and well-trained Office Assistant who is efficient and comfortable performing multiple duties.

The ability to be detailed oriented and accurate in all tasks, specifically related to the duties of Accounts Receivables by entering invoices and estimates into Quick books. The duties will also include being an office receptionist, with friendly, excellent customer service to clients and visitors.

2. Paid Vacation (40 hrs.) and paid Holidays after a year of employment.

3. Personal Leave up to 40 hrs. nonpaid.

Qualifications:

1. The ability to be detailed oriented and accurate with Accounts Receivables by entering incoming invoices and estimates into Quick books.

2. Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel, including understanding formulas in Excel.

3. Strong written and verbal communication skills including proper phone etiquette, strong spelling and grammar skills.

4. Communicating with owners and vendors in a professional manner.

5. Strong keyboard skills

6. Processing incoming mail, filing, and handling other office paperwork.

7. Ability to be flexible on day-to-day tasks with the ability to prioritize different tasks throughout the day based on differing deadlines or urgency.

8. Strong, work ethic with the ability to time manage properly, self-motivated, and team oriented.

9. Must be willing to undergo a drug test.

10. Must undergo a criminal background check.
